Mike Livingston has been involved with the game of basketball for over 20 years, both as a player and as a coach. He grew up in Northern California, going to high school at Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose. A two year starter, he was named all-league and all Santa Clara County his senior year, leading his team to its first ever league championship in the prestigious West Catholic Athletic League. He then traveled east to attend Georgetown University, where he graduated with a B.A. in English and Psychology. From 1999 through 2003, Mike worked for the Washington, DC office of One on One Basketball, teaching countless classes and coaching numerous teams. He excels at working with young athletes, demonstrating a contagiously positive attitude and endless amounts of enthusiasm. In June of 2003, Mike and his wife moved to Palo Alto, Ca, where he opened the seventh One on One office in the United States, with programs being launched in the fall of that year. He hopes that over the next few years One on One will become a household name in the Bay Area. In addition to his One on One duties, Mike is currently the Freshman B coach at Bellarmine College Prep. After being on the east coast for the past eight years, Mike is thrilled to be back in the Bay Area. He looks forward to bringing his talents in teaching the game of basketball to the players in this area, and considers himself a student of the game. |

Brent Wyse graduated in 2002 from the University of California at Davis where I earned a degree in managerial economics. A member of UC Davis’s only National Championship in men’s basketball, Brent was on the men’s intercollegiate basketball team for four years and was a part-time starter throughout his entire career. Prior to college Brent graduated from San Ramon Valley, where he played for one of the top coaches in Northern California in John Raynor. We were one of the top high school teams in the state during my two years at the varsity level. San Ramon Valley competed in the East Bay Athletic League, which is one of the top leagues in the Bay Area. During Brent’s two years on the varsity, SRV was considered one of the best high school teams in the state as he helped lead the team to the Northern California Semifinals in his junior year. He was named all-league min his senior year. Since graduating from Davis, Brent has been a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual in San Francisco, California. His love for the game drew him to One on One Basketball. "I have a passion for the game of basketball. I really enjoy seeing kids take the skills that I teach them and apply them on the court." Brent is excited about helping kids become better basketball players. He is extremely hard working and determined to make One on One Basketball successful in the East Bay area. Currently he plays in several evening basketball leagues throughout the Bay Area. |
