One on One Basketball first traveled to Panama in December 2007. The purpose of the trip was to promote the philosophy that sports can be a way teaching positive values across cultures. The goal was to use basketball as a vehicle to help create a positive image of American values with the youth of Panama. The trip was extremely successful and One on One has been invited back on numerous occasions. Currently, One on One partners with Jump Shoot Academy on cross cultural programs in the US and Panama. One on One has also consulted with the Panamanian Basketball Federation and President Jair Peralta
